This generous town is home to four dedicated Advocates who are standing up for children in foster care—showing up consistently, listening closely, and helping young people navigate complex systems with care and compassion. Wyckoff is also a strong base of philanthropic support for our work, with many valued donors helping ensure that children in foster care receive the advocacy they deserve.
Even more meaningfully, two of our invaluable Board members call Wyckoff home. Their leadership, guidance, and deep commitment to Bergen CASA strengthen our organization and help shape a brighter future for foster children across Bergen County.
Wyckoff’s spirit of care is reflected throughout the community itself. Places like Abma’s Farm—where families gather, learn, and connect—echo the importance of nurturing growth and joy. The James A. McFaul Environmental Center offers peaceful trails and natural beauty, reminding us how healing it can be to slow down and feel grounded. From historic landmarks like the Zabriskie House and Union Cemetery to the welcoming shops and restaurants along Wyckoff Avenue, this town blends tradition, connection, and warmth.
Recreation and community life thrive here too, with parks, tennis courts, and beloved traditions like the annual fishing derby—spaces where children can feel carefree, supported, and part of something bigger.
