Male volunteer opportunities in Northern New Jersey
At Bergen County CASA, our volunteer child advocates are the heart and soul of our non profit organization based in Northern New Jersey. Many male foster children especially benefit from a male Advocate who is also a valuable role model.
We offer child advocate volunteer opportunities for qualified, responsible male and female adults. Our foster children come from all over the county including Hackensack, Fort Lee, Garfield, Lodi, and other Northern NJ towns.
Many male and female volunteers become Court Appointed Special Advocates while others help behind the scenes in administrative and other support capacities. Email Info@BergenCasa.org to learn more or click the button below to get started on becoming a CASA Child Advocate.

Bergen CASA is always looking for male volunteers! We have many male volunteer opportunities in Bergen County NJ because we have male foster children who would benefit from a male role model. Despite this need, male Advocates are few and far between as over 80% of our volunteers are women.
One of the reasons why male volunteer opportunities are important is that many male foster children are placed with female relatives. Often an aunt or a grandma takes them in. Additionally, some of our foster children come from single parent families and this is much more likely to be a mother than a single parent father. So many of our male foster children need a male role model in their lives.
Advocates make a huge difference in the lives of our foster children. They are the constant amongst all the change. When a child is repeatedly moved, they learn that their CASA will still be there for them. Advocates make sure that our foster children receive the medical, educational and psychological services they need to begin to heal from their trauma.
Bergen County CASA is in Northern NJ and we have male volunteer opportunities and welcome prospective male volunteers.
