Male volunteer opportunities in Bergen County NJ
At Bergen County CASA, we have volunteer opportunities for male and females adults in Bergen County New Jersey.
Our foster children come from towns throughout Bergen County NJ. including Hackensack, Fort Lee, Garfield, Lodi etc. We are always looking for male child Advocates to volunteer with many foster kids who need role models in their lives.
Many male and female volunteers become a Court Appointed Special Advocate while others work behind the scenes in administrative and other support capacities. Email info@BergenCasa.org to learn more or click the button below to get started on becoming a Child Advocate.

Bergen CASA is always looking for male volunteers! We have many male volunteer opportunities in Bergen County NJ because we have male foster children who would benefit from a male role model. Despite this need, male Advocates are few and far between as over 80% of our volunteers are women.
One of the reasons why male volunteer opportunities are important is that many male foster children are placed with female relatives. Often an aunt or a grandma takes them in. Additionally, some of our foster children come from single parent families and this is much more likely to be a mother than a single parent father. So many of our male foster children need a male role model in their lives.
Bergen CASA is seeking to diversify, and this includes having more male perspectives among our volunteer base!
