Help foster kids gain independence through this special program
Four Bergen County foster teens are at risk of aging out of care without the skills and confidence they need to thrive on their own. The City Relief Paid Internship gives them eight weeks of hands-on experience serving vulnerable neighbors in our community — while building practical life and job skills that set them up for long-term success.
Unfortunately, funding for this program was cut just a few days ago. We need to raise $10,240 to provide stipends so these teens can participate fully, working 15–20 hours each week from October 28 through December 20.
This isn’t just an internship — it’s a chance to transform futures. With your support, we can ensure these four young people gain the personal and professional development they need as they take steps toward independent living.
