Donate to a foster care 501c3
Are you interested in donating to a foster care 501c3? Bergen County CASA is an independent, non-profit organization based in Northern New Jersey.
Our foster children come from towns located throughout the county including Hackensack, Fort Lee, Garfield, Lodi, and beyond. We offer child advocate opportunities for qualified, responsible, adults who seek to volunteer for a non-profit.
Many volunteers become Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) while others assist behind the scenes in administrative and other support capacities that are the foundation for a 501c3. Bergen County CASA is a small but mighty independent non-for-profit. We have 5 full time staff but an army of 98 incredible Advocates who provide support for every Bergen County foster child. Donations are the life blood of this organization. I urge you to please donate to this foster care 501c3.
Funds support Bergen CASA’s advocacy including paying for us to recruit, train and support our Advocates. You can see that donations to this Foster Care 501c3 make a huge difference as they pay for our advocacy and enable us to meet the needs of our children.
Additionally, we have child related expenses such as:
- Activities such as summer camp, sports camps, dance classes, swim lessons and arts classes.
- Funds to enhance education including tutoring, laptops, books and even dorm room essentials for our foster teens. Holiday gifts, birthday presents, recognition of achievements such as graduation gifts
- Clothing, diapers, formula etc.
