CASA fundraisers

At Bergen County CASA, our volunteer child Advocates are the heart and soul of our non profit organization based in Northern New Jersey. We rely on CASA fundraisers and events to finance our child advocacy.

Money raised from Bergen County CASA fundraising events is used to deliver hours of CASA training to our new Advocates, cover our operating expenses, and ensure that our foster child’s lives are being positively impacted.

Many volunteers become a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) while others help in administrative and other support capacities. Email info@BergenCasa.org to learn more or click the button below to get started on becoming an Advocate.

CASA fundraisers in Northern NJ for local non-profits serving foster children of New Jersey

Bergen CASA holds two main fundraising events per year.

  • Our Bergen CASA CASINO Gala. This includes gambling tables, a tricky tray, a silent auction and a delicious dinner and deserts. This is back by popular demand at Season’s in Washington Township on March 22, 2023.
  • The Bergen CASA ‘Fore’ the Kids Golf Outing, at Edgewood Country Club on October 2, 2023.

Additionally,  Bergen CASA raises funds throughout the year to pay for enrichment activities and essential needs including: birthday gifts and parties, holiday gifts, camps, sports activities, dance classes, tutoring, books, laptops, dorm room essentials and baby supplies

Bergen CASA also raises funds to participate in ‘Aging-out’ day: an annual event to provide valuable job and accommodation resources as well as financial information for teens aging out of foster care approaching 21 years.

Bergen CASA fundraises to participate in Adoption day – the third friday in November when as many children’s adoptions are held on the one day as possible. Bergen CASA provides family night bags with gift cards for a local restaurant and games etc.

You can see that there are a multitude of valuable ways for Bergen CASA to invest time and money in our future generation.
