Jennifer Murrin, M.A. - Executive Director - Jennifer received her B.A. in Sociology and Environmental Studies from Bucknell University and her M.A. in Applied Sociology from Montclair State University. During her M.A. program she interned with CASA of Morris & Sussex Counties, Inc. She currently resides in Hardyston Township.
Ellen Eber, M.Ed. – Case Supervisor – Ellen joined Bergen County CASA as a volunteer in May, 2008. She received her B.S. in Political Science from Boston University and her M.Ed. from Rutgers University. After a varied career in advertising and government, Ellen decided to use some of her community service experience to serve children in difficult situations. After advocating for a child for a year, Ellen joined the staff in August, 2009. Ellen and her husband have two sons and have resided in Teaneck for over 30 years.
Theresa Kehoe - Case Supervisor - Theresa received her B.A. in Accounting from St. Peter's College in May 1981 and was working as a self-employed accountant and director of a nursery school when she joined Bergen County CASA as a volunteer in the spring of 2005. After advocating for two different children, she decided to make a "career change" and joined the CASA staff in July 2008. Theresa and her two daughters have lived in Teaneck since 1987.
Chrystal Henion - Case Supervisor/Development Assistant - Chrystal graduated from Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey with a major in Justice Studies and a minor in Justice and Families. During her time at Montclair State University she was provided the opportunity to intern at Bergen County CASA for a semester. Currently she is the AmeriCorps VISTA for Bergen County CASA working as a Development Assistant.
Amanda Simonton – Volunteer Administrator – Amanda graduated from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with a major in Dance Administration and a minor in Business. She is currently working with CASA through the AmeriCorps VISTA program as a Volunteer Administrator.

Lawrence "Kip" Kramer - President - Kip is an attorney at V. Paulius and Associates in Allendale, NJ. Kip, his wife, and their two sons live in Glen Rock, NJ.Jeffrey W Golden - Vice President - Jeff is a majority partner and President of a company he formed in 2006 that presents soliciting product and service companies to the Federal Government for the purpose of contract awards. Prior to this, Jeff worked 16 years for The Movado Group as Senior VP of Sales. He and his wife of 26 years live in North Haledon, NJ.
Mark Levy - Secretary - Mark is a Director with RBC Capital Markets. He has over twenty years of technology and finance experience, including working as an Executive Director for Morgan Stanley, for Ernst & Young's Management Consulting division, Pearson plc, Merrill Lynch Capital Markets and his own management consulting company. He lives in Washington Township with his wife and two children.
Diane Pattin - Treasurer - Diane is currently employed by BD in Franklin Lakes, NJ as an HRIS professional. She holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting and a Masters in Global Management. She has been certified as a Senior Human Resource Professional since 2003. She resides with her husband and children in Wood-Ridge, NJ.
Charlene Barbetta - Charlene Barbetta has been a real estate professional since 1988. She holds a Broker's license and has been a Bergen County resident most of her adult life. Currently she is a broker for Coldwell Banker in Hillsdale. She is a member of the New Jersey Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and an active member of RealSource Board of Realtors were she serves on several committees. Prior to joining the Board of Trustees, Charlene was a CASA volunteer for over one year. Charlene has two grown children and lives in Oradell, NJ.
James W Boyan III - Jim Boyan is an associate at a law firm in Florham Park, NJ. While in law school he participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinic. He previously served in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Baton Rouge, LA. Jim grew up in Bergen County but currently resides in Hoboken.
Karen Cedzidlo - Karen currently serves as Director of Business Operations for Panasonic Corporation of North America in Secaucus, NJ. She currently resides in East Rutherford, NJ and is a native of Wallington, NJ where she has participated in Wallington Public Schools development committees and other events. Karen is a graduate of Lafayette College where she received a BA in Economics and received an MBA in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Melissa Goetz - Melissa grew up in Closter, NJ and has lived in Bergen County all of her life. She is the Co-President of the PSO for her children's elementary school and den mother for her daughter's Daisy troop. Melissa tries to volunteer and raise funds as often as possible within her community. She currently resides in Washington Twp. with her husband Fred and 2 children.
Maxine Horvath - Maxine is currently a real estate agent with Mark De Luca Realtors. She is a retired business education teacher. She is on the Board of Directors and several committees in her condominium association in Hackensack.
Jerry Maroules - Jerry graduated from Columbia University in 1978. He received his Masters Degree in Business Administration in 1980 from Rutgers University, Newark. In 1983, he received his law degree from Seton Hall l University School of Law. Mr. Maroules was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1983 and to the New York Bar in 1984. In 1985, Jerry Maroules and Michael S. Maneri formed the law firm of Maneri and Maroules. Mr. Maroules’ primary areas of practice include personal injury matters and worker’s compensation cases , real estate, residential and commercial other transactional matters, wills and estates, including living wills, powers of attorney, etc. Family law including, civil union and domestic partner related matters. He is a member of the Bergen County, Essex County, NJ State and Hellenic American Bar Associations. He also is admitted to roster of court-approved mediators as a R. 1:40 qualified mediator.
Nancy Nachman – Nancy is a graduate of Vassar College and has two Masters Degrees in Education and Counseling from Columbia University and Jersey City State College. She was a special education counselor at Paramus High School for 11 years. Nancy received a law degree from New York Law School in 1985 and engaged in general practice before concentrating in education law. She also served as a hearing officer for the Early Intervention Program in New Jersey. Nancy has been a CASA volunteer since 2004. She and her husband live in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
Bob Varettoni - Bob is executive director for corporate communications at Verizon. He is a Verizon spokesperson, and his corporate communications career has spanned nearly 25 years in the telecommunications and technology industry. A graduate of Notre Dame, Bob began his career as a journalist and editor. He has provided pro-bono public relations support to a variety of non-profits. Bob lives in New Milford with his wife and two daughters.
